Located in Ham (Hauts de France), Evonik Rexim S.A.S. specializes in highly purified amino acids and their derivatives for the benefit of the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics industries. 93% of its production is exported abroad.
The production site in Ham, northern France, manufactures amino acids and peptides for application in cell cultures and parenteral nutrition. The products of the site are registered in more than 60 countries around the world. The Evonik Rexim site has been carbon neutral since May 2023. This is the first site from the Health Care Business Line to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 (direct and indirect) greenhouse gas emissions to zero.
Approximately 230 employees work at the site, which has been in operation for more than 70 years.
