The production site in Hamina belongs to the Silica Business Line, but also produces products for Coating Additives. Hamina began production in 1969 and has been a part of Evonik since 2017. The site produces several different products for the Oral Care, Specialty Fillers, and Coating Additives Product Lines. The plant is highly efficient, with high standards and motivated employees. Its location close to Baltic Sea harbors is ideal for both the supply chain and the export business.
Products of the site: Precipitated Silicas and Silicates for Oral Care (toothpaste), Specialty Fillers (e.g., paper, food) and Coating Additives (paints).
