Part of the Silica Business Line, the site in Taavetti makes liquid silicate and mainly serves domestic customers in the paper and construction industries. The site was built in 1983 and has been a part of Evonik since 2017. Taavetti has a small, efficient 8-person team. Administrative operations are handled partly by Hamina.
