Medical emergency management

In case of accidents or medical emergencies at the workplace we want to ensure fast and adequate first aid in order to prevent serious and lasting consequences.

The outcome of medical emergencies often depends significantly on the effectiveness of the emergency measures having been taken within the first minutes. Therefore in case of accidents or medical emergencies at the workplace, we aim to ensure fast and adequate first aid and a functioning chain of survival. Thus we want to prevent serious and lasting consequences as possible.

Basic requirements for medical emergency management are binding for all sites. The necessary equipment and personnel is dependent on production specific risks at the site and availability and quality of the medical infrastructure (ambulance services, hospitals) close to the site.

Where meaningful or necessary, we have our own medical personnel on sites. Where this is not the case, we ensure medical emergency management by our trained first aiders and a close collaboration with the local ambulance services and surrounding hospitals. The procedures for medical emergencies are exercised on a regular basis.
