Evonik introduces new matting agent
Specially formulated for the UV-cured coatings market—excellent transparency and easy to disperse.
Evonik Industries is expanding its range of matting agents to include its new EXP 3600 product. This silica-based matting agent is perfectly suited for use in UV-cured coatings, thanks to its special surface configuration. This product is characterized, moreover, by high transparency, low residual gloss, excellent surface quality, and scratch-resistance. Evonik’s ACEMATT® products are efficient matting agents that have been popular with paints and coatings manufacturers for many years now. As with all of the other ACEMATT® products, EXP 3600 is easy to incorporate and it does not negatively impact the coating system’s other application properties in any way.
