Big data in chicken farms:
Evonik plans to contribute to improved health and productivity in chicken farming by means of systematic data collection and evaluation and with custom-tailored feed additives.
Healthy animal nutrition:
Probiotics from Evonik can have a positive impact on the composition of bacteria in the intestines of broiler chickens.
Understanding what happens in the gut:
As part of the GOBI-FEED project funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Evonik is developing a model of the chicken gut that is designed to map the interactions between food, the immune system, and the intestinal flora.
