Evonik's New People Strategy

A key component of the corporate strategy

By focusing on specialty chemicals, Evonik is pursuing a clear growth strategy that relies not merely on financial resources but primarily on the Group’s employees to achieve market success.

One of the most important tasks will be how we develop and retain our employees. We also need to attract additional talented, highly qualified people to continue writing our growth story.
Built on six fields of action, the new people strategy creates the basis for HR at Evonik in the coming years. The people strategy therefore specifically promotes growth and values of the Evonik 2016 program.

Thanks to Evonik’s positioning as an attractive employer in the relevant target groups and markets as well as to professional recruiting strategies and processes, we build the basis to compete successfully for the best people. 

Promoting employee development

To grow businesses, you need talented people - especially to achieve the company’s growth, internationalization, and further diversity goals. Based on our existing measures for senior management level, we are progressively creating structures and processes to be able to fill key positions with qualified high potentials. Also we will grow the employability of our employees with modern methods.
